Installation

This installation is a commentary on how the city’s ancient stone spouts (Dhungedhara) have gradually dried up and been polluted. Perhaps these natural water sources will eventually be replaced by plastic bottled water. The artworks highlights the use of plastic and the pollution of our water bodies. Over fifty young people actively participated in the process of constructing this installation. They used plastic bottles that were trashed and this activity helped them think about this larger environmental problem and the need to find innovative solutions.
